Parking: available at Elizabeth Park (enter at southwest corner of Prospect and Asylum Avenues, use driveway marked “One Way” or on street
Join HPA’s Mary Falvey and award-winning architectural historian Mary Donohue for a guided tour of Prospect Avenue-the boundary of Hartford and West Hartford. Hartford’s elite began moving to Prospect Avenue in the 1880’s and built stunning mansions along the avenue including the current Governor’s Mansion and the Beatrice Fox Auerbach House. Designed by the Hartford’s best architects using the finest of materials, these Colonial Revival and Tudor homes have big stories to tell!
