Lost Hartford
Another link to Hartford's architectural past was lost in the early morning hours of January 20, 2011 when the carriage house at 9 Gillett Street (once part of an estate at 340 Farmington Avenue) was razed.  The demolition was mandated by city inspectors after the slate roof collapsed from the weight of accumulated snows.
